question/idea for what you do with all ur yudu printd shirts

i was wondering what everyone plans on doing with their extra shirts that they printed on. i know i have about 10 shirts i need to get rid of from my demos at joanns and i have more i have to print up again this weekend's demo, they are all supposed to go home with people other than employees, according to corp rules. so i was kinda thinking turning the ones i have and cant seem to get rid of, into a tee shirt quilt,all of designs that were printed my the yudu. of course i am going to have to make in the store as i cant even step out the store with them unless i give them to a friend or family who stop in during the demo, but it would look a lil odd on the camera if i just hand over all 10+ shirts to one person.

so back to the question i asked in the begin of my ramble what do you plan on doing with your extra printed shirts or other objects you printed on\?

Most corporations allow for non-profit donations of surplus items. Maybe you should call HQ to see if you can give them to a charity. If you used the Rockstar print I am sure there are plenty of teen, women's shelters or youth groups where they would put a smile on someone's face.
You might call a few local churches and ask for their Youth Director, let them know you have a free tshirt or two. We often use that sort of stuff as prizes for "Fun Nights". Free is usually all we can afford!

i wish i could give them to churches with out them stopping by to get them but joanns corp office doesnt do much donating of stuff like you think they would or do. we are lucky if we can donate some of our out of date clearance. but if i would make them into a quilt it could be shown to customers that you can def do more than just printing a shirt to wear.

I think quilting is a great idea

Another idea that I have been playing with is using some of the plain wood plaques and then stapling the fabric to the board for a wall hanging. You know, just stretching and then pleating, like window treatment or upholstery. I thought it might make for a cool teen graphic art sort of decor piece. Like "Rockstar" on a turquoise shirt, brown shirt and pink shirt material as triple wall hangings. I'll stop now. I only end up enabling myself.

just donate them. Me I don't do demos, and I use my rejects for sweating at the gym. LOL or I usethem for test printing.

Personally I giving them as gifts/donations...been thinking of doing a blog giveaway though.

Screw ups I give to family or friends. Other than that there all for sale. Been in business for 11 years now and couldn't do anything else for by now I have "ink" for blood so to speak.

I wear them when I am printing, I used some for testing new screen/designs. I use some for rags for my car (cause my baby needs extra soft material - lol)

I posted something up some time ago about maybe trying to do a charity thing where we give our extra shirts to them. Only one person replied. I would rather give it to a charity. I mean a quilt is cool but thats 10 shirts that could have been worn.
