I just wanted to post this Topic as a little warning for international buyers or those keen on joining the vast members of YUDU users, so they won't get burnt like I did.
I thought I did my research when looking to buy a compact all in one screen-printing machine.
I loved what was said about the yudu in forums (getting honest opinions from people). In the end I was sold on the idea of starting a little hobby craft of my own. I was originally looking to purchase a gocco machine but was put off by the worry of not getting supplies. I purchased my yudu on ebay and had it shipped over to New Zealand. I had looked at other online retail websites, they all said they could ship to New Zealand except for the bigger craft stores mentioned on this forum. The big problem was no one had warned me that the WARRANTY WOULD BE VOID OUTSIDE OF THE USA. It is specifically designed for the US. Even the manuals are written this way (although I must admit the warranty isn't very clear on this matter).
Any seasoned traveller can tell you that electronics from overseas will probably not work in the states (even with an adapter plug) visa-versa electronic products from America will probably blow-up if you plug them into an overseas socket. You need a voltage adapter.
But silly me, being very green and naive, oblivious to this, plugged it in and pop! I now have a very large expensive paper weight. Perhaps a transformer would have prevented this but now I will never know. I rang the provo-craft support number (because the email address wouldn't work) and they said there is nothing they can do, I was in New Zealand, so they easily disposed of me.
I write this through teary eyes, don't make the same stupid mistake I did. Be more thorough with your research, and treat electrical appliances with respect.
